A Person of Value
Too many people are more eager to comment on world events than they are to become a person of value.
Every day, there's a new controversy. A new headline. A new reason to project your biases, claim victimhood, or climb onto your soapbox to announce how right you were.
Meanwhile, their own life stagnates.
They're not building anything. Not developing skills, relationships, or value. Just reacting. Endlessly.
Stimuli from "out there" is ceaseless. There will always be another event to rage about. Another reason to feel righteous. Another excuse to avoid looking inward.
The question is, is that what you want for your life?
To be a reactionary puppet? Performing outrage for strangers who will forget you existed 30 seconds later?
Or do you want to bring forth something real, valuable and worthwhile? Something that actually contributes instead of just consuming attention?
The world doesn't need more hot takes. It needs more people who've done the work to become someone worth listening to.
We need more people creating value instead of just commenting on what others create.
More people developing skills and competence instead of just tracking the chaos.
You have a finite amount of time and energy, and every moment you spend reacting to the noise is a moment you're not spending becoming someone who matters.
