The Gardener of Your Mind
You are the gardener of your mind, whether you've claimed the role or not.
The subconscious doesn't audit what you give it. It doesn't ask if the seed is true, if the story is fair, if the fear is yours or one you inherited from somewhere along the way. It accepts what is offered, and it grows what gets watered.
Most of us are gardening on autopilot. Half-rehearsed criticisms running in the background. Old verdicts about who we are, planted by people who weren't even paying attention when they said it... watered every morning in the mirror, every night before sleep, every time we talk about ourselves in front of our kids.
The shift begins the moment you notice. The same soil that grew the doubt is the same soil that grows the vision. The same mind that rehearsed your smallness will just as faithfully rehearse your becoming, if that's what you start to feed it.
Every quiet word you say about yourself is a seed dropped into ground that takes you at your word.
Be careful with what you plant. The garden is always listening.
